St Patricks School gave the opportunity for ice Roofing to demonstrate their ability at working within a live school environment. Due to the very busy summer period the project did not start until October, this meant the works had to be carried out in term time.
The works involved overlaying the existing waterproofing with new 100mm PIR insulation, cut to falls boards within the gutters and the high performance Icopal BUR system. Also included within the contract was the removal of the degraded tank house cladding, followed by the installation of new Upvc shiplap cladding.
Despite the fact the works were carried out in term time, the project was successfully completed on time, and without any disruption to the school.
Due to the success of the first phase the School were delighted when we secured the second phase of this project. Once again the project ran smoothly without disruption to the school.
